This PDF document shows the power output for all three of the turbines we sell, for varying wind speeds. This is of general interest but is also very useful if you want to use the Wind Estimator tool on the Carbon Trust web site. This was launched in March 2009 and the following is an extract from the Press Release :

"By inputting a postcode, details about the surrounding landscape and the type of turbine, users can now calculate the annual mean wind speed as well as the likely energy generation and carbon savings. The 'Wind Yield Estimation Tool' is freely available on the Carbon Trust website and can be accessed here:

Planning pack for all turbines

A useful document, used when seeking Planning Permission, is a Method Statement. This shows how the tower is erected. A copy of the Method Statement can be downloaded here. Choose from the list below according to the turbine power and the tower height.

All licensed electricity suppliers in the UK are now obliged by law to purchase a proportion of their supply from renewable sources. Suppliers prove that they have purchased renewable energy by presenting ROC’s (Renewable Energy Certificates) to Ofgem. All renewable generators whether onsite or grid connected are eligible to receive ROC’s.
